Press this point for nosebleeds and toothaches
Stomach 44 is used for upper-body issues that, from an acupuncture perspective, are caused by heat in the Stomach. These include nosebleeds, toothaches, painful or bleeding gums, dry mouth or bad breath, and even some headaches.
The point is located about a half inch up from the web between your second and third toes. You can use your thumb or nail to press the point, of if you have a hard time accessing the space by hand, try a pointer or a closed pen.
If you can access both feet, try pressing the point on both sides at the same time—a cross-legged position is usually easiest. If alternating sides is more comfortable, that works too. Applying firm pressure, press for 1-2 minute increments at least once a day.
